The closing ceremony of the First World Public Assembly "New World of Conscious Unity" was a testament to the power of music to bring people together. Held on September 21, 2025, the International Day of Peace, the ceremony featured a stunning musical performance that united participants from 150 countries.
A Musical Tribute to Unity:
The ceremony began with a soul-stirring performance of the prayer "Our Father" in ancient Aramaic by Italian singer Serena Menarini. The audience stood in unison, transcending their differences in background and religion, and prayed together in a moment of profound unity.
Cultural Diversity Shining Through Music:
The concert featured a diverse range of musical performances, including a tribute to Russia with the song "Russia," performed by Valentina Pudova, and a breathtaking performance of "Ana Tilegi" by Nurzhamal Usenbayeva. The audience was also treated to a traditional Indonesian dance from the province of East Java, "Topeng Ireng," performed by the Kirana Nusantara Dance group.
A Celebration of Humanity:
The concert culminated in a joint performance by the RUDN Interclub dance groups from around the world, featuring 120 performers on stage. The performance was a vibrant celebration of humanity and unity, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
A Symbol of Unity:
The ceremony concluded with a poignant performance of the "Festive Chime" of bells, led by nine-year-old Luka Kurilov. The audience and participants joined in, holding bells and affirming their wish for peace and unity.
