The recent First World Public Summit brought together over 4,000 participants from more than 150 countries, showcasing a diverse range of voices and perspectives. We spoke with Inga Anatolyevna, a key figure behind the summit, about the event's significance and its vision for a more harmonious world.
Q: What was the geographical spread of the summit's participants, and how did the idea for the event come about?
A: The summit's participants came from over 150 countries, representing a wide range of fields, including politics, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, culture, education, and more. The idea for the summit had been brewing for a long time, driven by the need for a new approach to global cooperation and unity. We believe that love, care, and humanity can be the foundation for a more peaceful and harmonious world.
Q: How does the World Public Summit plan to become a platform for international dialogue and cooperation?
A: The summit has already demonstrated its potential as a platform for unity and cooperation. By bringing together people from different countries and backgrounds, we've created a space for meaningful discussions and partnerships. Our focus is on building a new world order based on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation.
Q: Russia has been actively engaging with countries in Africa and Asia. Does the World Public Summit see itself as part of this effort?
A: Yes, the summit is already part of this effort. We've seen a growing interest in Russia as a partner for development and cooperation, particularly among young people in Africa and Asia. Our summit provides a platform for building bridges between nations and fostering cooperation.
Q: What were the expectations of the participants, and to what extent were they met?
A: Participants came to the summit with a range of expectations, from discussing new humanitarian principles to exploring the role of public organizations in building a new world order. We're thrilled to see that an unprecedented number of cooperation agreements were signed on the sidelines of the summit, with 71 documents signed between representatives from various countries.
Q: What's next for the World Public Summit?
A: In the coming year, we'll continue our work in people's diplomacy, science, education, sports, arts, and humanitarian projects. Our goal is to build a more harmonious world based on cooperation and mutual respect. We're guided by the principle that cooperation is stronger than rivalry, and we're committed to overcoming restrictions and sanctions through joint work.
Q: What message would you like to leave our readers with?
A: I'd like to conclude with a quote from the "Charter of a New World," which states that we're ready to cooperate with all peoples, nations, and institutions to preserve peace, promote development, and preserve the civilizational and spiritual achievements of humanity. We believe that together, we can build a brighter future for all.
